I have SBC/Yahoo DSL at home. 2 years ago I took advantage of a $26 per month for a year deal for new customers. I won't pay more than $30 a month for internet so I figgered I'll just find another deal at the end of the year. Well last year they offered to extend the deal for another year. Good enough, I took it.
Now my year is coming to a close and this is what they are offering me...
Option 1: Upgrade to DSL Pro with speeds up to twice as fast as regular DSL for $17.99/month for one year and $34.99/month after that. The catch is that you have to keep the service for at least one year. [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img] I reread that part again. I must keep the service for a year at $17.99....got it.
Option 2: Do nothing and my "regular" DSL service goes up to $34.99/month.
What should I do??? Think, think, think! Woe is me! How on Earth am I expected to figure this one out???

Well, I guess the high speed internet part is only $30.00/month, it's just the $150/month cable part that's hurting
Jor, you must have missed my post lam-basting Comcast a couple weeks back.
This past month my bill for cable and internet together went from $60.75/month to $180.23!!
